Clinical Trials Research ® (CTR) has two research sites providing coverage to the greater Sacramento area in northern California. 

Our medical director, Jeffrey D. Wayne, has served as a Principal Investigator since 1992 overseeing more than 260 phase 2, 3 and 4 studies. Since 2010, Dr.  Wayne has been focused 100% on pursuing excellence in clinical research.
CTR brings the experience, the team, the facilities, the dedication and the reaction time to positively impact your study enrollment objectives.

Clinical Trials Research ® (CTR) is a privately-owned, independent research clinic qualified to conduct Phase I-IV clinical trials located in the greater Sacramento area. Our facilities have easy access and plenty of free parking.

For more than 20 years, we have provided an efficient, safe and professional environment for our study participants and accurate quality data for our study sponsors.

We have conducted over 260 clinical trials of investigational drugs and devices. We pride ourselves on our ability to provide quick study startup and approval, and rapid patient enrollment for our studies.
Phase II - IV Outpatient Clinic Facilities
  • Each site (Lincoln and Sacramento) has 3 examination and procedure rooms
  • On site blood drawing and processing lab with IATA certified staff
  • Emergency equipment, crash cart and BLS certified staff
  • Alarm and temperature controlled drug storage and lab specimen freezers and refrigerators with backup generator system

  • Monitor workstations with ethernet and wireless internet access, copier, fax and scanner

Patient Recruitment

The key to the success of any clinical trial is rapid study start up and enrollment of patients. Clinical Trials Research employs full time staff dedicated to identifying and screening eligible participants for our studies.

For more than 20 years, Clinical Trials Research ® (CTR) has continued to expand our patient recruitment database of over 18,300 subjects (CTR + Lincoln Family Practice) who have either participated in previous trials or are interested in participating in new research studies.

We know that a successful recruitment campaign must integrate multiple recruitment strategies. We continue to build our database with new participants year-round through radio and television ads, social media advertising, newspaper, targeted direct mail, health fairs, and poster and flyer campaigns as well as central advertising campaigns run by trial sponsors.
